Security Field Enablement Specialist

Job Description:
 
Do you enjoy solving problems and being the go-to person with the answers? Are you able to talk with and build trust with customers? Are you interested in working with Adobe’s business up-close by partnering with our global field organization and being an expert on key trust topics that helps sales go through effectively? This job blends an understanding of information security, compliance, privacy, and related controls with technical acuity, evangelism, program management, relationship building, business savvy, and an eye for detail with timely execution. We are a critical hub for Sales, Legal, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and Product teams in presenting Adobe's security and trust posture and helping ensure necessary alignment with customer requirements. We assist these teams throughout the sales cycle, helping to close business while accurately representing Adobe's trust controls and posture.
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer questions around information security as they
  • pertain to Adobe's individual applications & solutions and overall
  • security posture.
  • Provide support to sales organizations by speaking expertly and
  • knowledgably about Adobe's information security control
  • framework.
  • Assist Legal with security language and terms in contract
  • negotiations.
  • Advise customers as to how each solution's security controls align
  • with the applicable security compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2 and
  • ISO 27001).
  • Answer information gathering security questionnaires to support the
  • sales process.
  • Help maintain our knowledgebase of security-related questions and
  • responses, and our supporting documentation (e.g. white papers,
  • architectural diagrams, sample questionnaires, and other related
  • software security documents) for sales enablement.
  • Further develop, promote and support processes that streamline the
  • sales cycle with regard to information security.
  • Represent Adobe's information security team on sales calls with
  • customers.
  • Train Account Executives, Solution Consultants and Customer
  • Success Managers on how to properly engage our group for efficient
  • support.
  • Support corporate and product marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • as they relate to security.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to learn and understand
  • software security development concepts, design and architecture.
  • An understanding and ability to articulate the value of industry-wide
  • software security concepts such as encryption, authentication and
  • authorization, cross domain protection, security vulnerabilities and
  • testing strategies.
  • Familiarity with security industry certifications such as ISO 27001
  • and SOC 2 Type II and an ability to understand and articulate the
  • value of the security controls within the different domains.
  • Communication: strong written and oral skills.
  • Attentiveness to detail and ability to stay organized.
  • Ability to deal with high priority, time sensitive issues.
  • Dependability: Meet commitments, work independently, accept
  • accountability, be adaptable to change, set personal standards, and
  • stay focused under pressure.
  • Legal/contract experience a plus.
  • SharePoint and database familiarity a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $101,300 -- $229,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
