**Security Guard** **Overview:** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and visitors. This is a rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to protecting people and property. **Duties:** - Patrol the premises to prevent and detect any security breaches - Conduct visual checks on CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity - Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and effectively - Perform regular checks on doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure - Provide first aid and CPR when necessary - Maintain a high level of visibility by interacting with staff and visitors - Monitor and report any incidents, including conflicts and loss prevention - Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, visitors, and law enforcement agencies - Participate in training programs to maintain and enhance security skills - Stay alert and vigilant at all times to prevent any potential security threats - Maintain accurate records of incidents, including witness statements and evidence collection - Perform other duties as required to ensure the overall security and safety of the facility **Experience:** - Previous experience in a security role, preferably in law enforcement or a related field - Hold a current Certificate in Security Guarding or a related field - Possess a valid CPR certification - Demonstrate a strong understanding of conflict management techniques - Proven experience in loss prevention and surveillance techniques - Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Skills:** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Physical stamina to perform duties effectively - Ability to operate security equipment, including CCTV systems - Strong conflict management skills - Proficiency in first aid and CPR techniques - Knowledge of law enforcement procedures - Experience in loss prevention and surveillance techniques - Military background or experience in a related field This role requires a dedicated and reliable individual who is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for everyone.
