Summary:
The Senior Analyst role on the Data Management team is responsible for supporting the planning, development, implementation, and administration of systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data within the data-based applications and business systems for the internal/external users of the Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) suite used across the Enterprise. The Senior Analyst is responsible for managing, developing, implementing, and facilitating training materials including, but not limited to flow charts, presentations on key business processes, hosting webinars, workshops, individual training sessions, and maintaining a training Sharepoint site. The training will be focused on the specific Product Data Management (PDM) workflows and the Enterprise project management tool, which is currently New Product Development (NPD). The role will require expertise in the current process and systems to effectively train others consistently. This person will be a strong collaborator and be able to communicate effectively across different levels and functional teams in the organization. This role partners with Business Units, Insights/Innovation, R&D Scientists, and Packaging/Graphics teams to simplify processes and attain speed to market. The Senior Analyst has a great understanding of the critical data through specific Product Data Management (PDM) workflows, critical thinking around formulations, and product processing requirements necessary to ensure operational and regulatory compliances are met.
The Senior Analyst operates as an internal consultant to IT project teams to provide analysis and definition of data requirements; development and administration of data standards; policies, and procedures; development and implementation of data mining programs; evaluation and recommendations on new database technologies; and ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services. The Senior Analyst performs duties with wide latitude for the exercise of independent judgement to perform responsible work of considerable difficulty requiring somewhat extended professional and technical training and experience which has demonstrated important attainments and marked capacity for independent work. Additionally, the Senior Analyst needs to have knowledge of, and skill in, applying network principles and concepts; systems administration methods and procedures; customer support principles; IT security principles; troubleshooting methods; and utilize communication methods and techniques in providing guidance to our internal/external customers. Lastly, the Senior Analyst must develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Marketing, PMO teams, FSQA, Regulatory Labeling, Nutrition, Technical Services, and R&D Scientists.
