Required Skills and Experience *

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of total IT experience, 3+ years of data analysis experience.
• Heavy SQL experience – will need to know how to write in and read SQL.
• Ability to understand Linux scripting.
o Client uses embedded SQL code within a Linux script.
• Strong experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel (Vlookups), Word, PowerPoint, etc.
o Will need to know how to make drawings portraying how data is flowing from point A to point B.
• Experience with data warehousing and data constructs.
• Strong Documentation experience – System Flows, Data Flows, Process Flows.
• Ability to trace through code and tables to understand how current processes are running in order to develop future solutions and enhancements.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Agile, Jira, and ETL
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Microstrategy, etc.
• Understanding of version control (client uses Github).
• Exposure to Data Governance techniques.
• Experience being a part of an Oracle ERP or Snowflake migration

The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the assessment, design, and monitoring of an enterprise data repository, being tasked with understanding key business imperatives and translating them into data requirements. They will be responsible for analyzing existing systems, identifying changes that need to be made, and working with data engineers to achieve those changes.
