General Position Scope:

 

Responsible for assisting and analysis and reporting of credit portfolio risk. Also responsible for designing, building, and maintaining standardized and ad-hoc reporting with large data sets using multiple systems for reporting and risk management purposes.

              

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Loan Portfolio Analyst with the development of comprehensive Microsoft Power BI Dashboards and reports, including but not limited to, specialized portfolio dashboards and reports used by executive management, the Board of Directors, Financial Accounting, internal auditors and external auditors.
  • Serve as Credit Administration's designer and primary contact for the design of dashboards and other system reporting software.
  • Serve as the primary back-up for stress testing, stress test documentation and data required for stress testing.
  • Utilize loan portfolio information systems used to detect and report emerging credit risks.
  • Assist Loan Portfolio Officer with the reporting and analysis of compliance with loan policy, regulatory rules or guidance.
  • Assist the Loan Portfolio Analyst and other departments in the bank in the validation of data used for loan portfolio analysis.
  • Attend, as needed, meetings of the banks Current Expected Credit Loss Committee (CECL).
  • Assist with the development of and management of special projects and develop ad hoc reports. Research and monitor various loan reports. Work with lenders and others to obtain updated information to support special projects.
  • Assist with report preparation for the annual FDIC/State Examination, the preparation of both internal and external reports (e.g., Call Report, SEC reporting, etc.).
  • Attend meetings and training as requested.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct.
  • Participate in the bank's High-Performance Connections program.
  • Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Power BI or related software is strongly preferred.
  • Master's degree in business administration or equivalent post graduate banking school  degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Cognos or similar report writing and data visualization software preferred.
  • General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook. Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
  • Experience or working knowledge related to credit administration, loan administration, loan underwriting, lending, credit analysis, compliance, loan policy administration, financial accounting and auditing preferred.
  • Familiar with Instructions for Preparation of Call Report preferred.
  • Experience in the preparation of data and information used in regulatory reporting.
  • Minimum 12 or more years of banking.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills. Affinity for technology and ability to effectively communicate with business and technology teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiar with banking regulations preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Extensive reading as needed.
  • High standard of integrity.
  • Outstanding customer service with internal and external customers.
  • Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary.
