Senior Project Manager 
Travel: Approximately 30% (with additional travel opportunities available) 
Compensation: Competitive base salary + Bonus 
Status: Full-Time

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to ensure the successful, safe, and efficient production of assigned events. In this role, you will have primary responsibility for planning and executing projects while overseeing a team that includes production managers, foremen, and leads. You will adhere to the tasks outlined in the Project Manager Checklist within the Heritage SOP Manual, ensuring that each event is executed to the highest standard. 

Key Responsibilities: 

SOP Compliance: Identify and address any variances from the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Suggest improvements where applicable. 

Project Planning & Execution: Complete all PM Checklist tasks on time and ensure client expectations are exceeded. Coordinate labor calls and manage site visits to mitigate risks. 

Resource Management: Determine and order optimal rental equipment, plan travel, and ensure all logistics are arranged. Be on-site 20 hours before move-in, present during all show hours, and through the final walkthrough. 

Documentation & Reporting: Review prior year information, complete load lists, work orders, and production outlines. Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time, including payroll and invoices. 

Safety & Team Coordination: Conduct daily safety meetings with the crew, coordinate with the National Logistics Manager, and maintain open communication with the warehouse and inventory managers. 

Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide superior client experiences and first-in-class customer service. Address and escalate issues as needed, always having a plan B in place. 

Team Development: Mentor, train, and support the development of team members. Maintain a positive attitude and foster a collaborative team environment. 

Continuous Improvement: Embrace change, implement new processes, and take ownership of all aspects of the project. 

Qualifications: 

Minimum of 2-5 years of project management experience. 

Proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met. 

Experience leading cross-functional teams including production managers, foremen, and on-site staff. 

Hands-on experience with logistics coordination including labor scheduling, equipment rentals, and on-site management. 

Experience with budgeting and financial management for projects, including cost estimation, invoicing, and payroll management. 

Excellent client relationship management skills, with experience in a customer-facing role, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. 

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with Boomer Software, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and knowledge of Salesforce with Task Ray Intergration. 

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Excellent communication and leadership skills. 

Experience in event production or project management is highly desirable.
