Global Sourcing is heavily leveraged by the recruiting function within Talent Acquisition, our top priorities are talent readiness, market insights and candidate engagement, and we are searching for someone who understands the challenges we face daily in hiring top talent.
You will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function, how it fits into VMware and then lead the search to hire the best candidate.

What type of work will you be doing?
What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Focus primarily on sourcing, attracting, and engaging passive prospects for VMware’s Americas Go to Market team, specifically sales and sales engineering
Leverage platforms including LinkedIn, Workday, Beamery, SeekOut and social media to actively engage top prospects and build awareness for VMware Careers
Build relationships with individuals and with pools of talent in support of current and future hiring needs
Map potential markets and provide ‘on demand’ talent pool research and analysis
Simultaneously manage multiple searches and support multiple recruiting partners

The hiring manager for this role is Stuart Taylor, who leads a team of sourcing specialists that covers Customer Operations, Business Operations, and Professional Services.
Stuart leads a tenured team of sourcing specialists at VMware, and strongly believes that every member of the team has something unique to contribute to the role, the group, and VMware.
The team is distributed throughout the United States, Canada, and Costa Rica, and follows an open, dynamic work culture that encourages team collaboration, coaching through open communication, and growth and development in a fun and courteous environment.
