Host/Cashier
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
- Manage cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and lobby area
- Assist servers with various tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Knowledge of banquet and food service procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with brewing or bartending techniques is an asset
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is desirable
- Understanding of basic math for handling cash transactions accurately
