Hessen Haus is looking for full and part time servers to join our hard-working team. We are seeking motivated, reliable, organized and friendly individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment to create a memorable and positive experience for our guests.

Weekend available required.

Hessen Haus serves lunch and dinner seven days a week with a variety of shifts available. We are located in the heart of Downtown Des Moines, within walking distance of many local attractions which drives additional business to our location before and after events.

In addition to our large dining room, we have a sizable outdoor patio that is open Spring-Fall.

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff, management and other service staff
• Must work quickly and accurately, while still maintaining attention to detail
• Desire to go the extra mile to ensure a great guest experience
• Must be able to work well in a team setting
• Engage with guests to help them make food and beverage choices
• Answer questions or make recommendations
• Willingness to work both indoor and outdoor shifts
• Other duties as assigned

Servers make $4.35 an hour plus tips and on average make between $20 - $30 per hour.Next Steps:
