Brick Haus is hiring for server positions. We are seeking highly motivated, positive and energetic individuals to join our team. This position is a key role to our operation, focusing on serving our guests, providing a casual/fun environment and assisting in supporting our service team. This is a part time position with the opportunity to move to full time. The following outlines some responsibilities but is not an all-inclusive list:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and engage with all guests in a friendly, positive manner
• Sets-up and maintains the dining areas
• Maintains safe, secure and sanitary FOH and BOH areas
• Adheres to department rules and procedures
• Follows opening, closing and cleaning checklists on a daily basis
• Ensure all guests have proper ID, are over 21 years of age, and that drinks are not served to intoxicated patrons
• Expert menu knowledge in order to upsell to guests
• Clean and close down the dining area at the end of the night according to procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and standard drink recipes required
• Minimum of 1 year of in a bartender position preferred
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Able to work under pressure, multi-task, follow directions, and work with a team
• Friendly, outgoing, and a team player
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to be on your feet and active for 8 or more hours, climb stairs, lift up to 40lbs, and use basic cleaning equipment
