Job Title: Server

Location: Smuggler’s at North Shore

Employment Type: Full and Part time

Rate of Pay: $8.50/ hour + Tips

We are seeking friendly and attentive Servers to join our team at Smuggler's at North Shore, located on Hess Lake! The ideal candidates will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable dining experiences.

As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Complete knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and answering any questions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them timely to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and attend to any additional requests.
• Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for the next guests.
• Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately.
• Communicate guest concerns with management timely as necessary.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Uphold the restaurant's brand image and reputation by delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• Must be TIPs certified.
• 2-4 years experience as a server in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience with Toast POS is preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
