Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hospitality-oriented Server to join our team for the summer at The Racquet Lounge at Southampton. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and their guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a positive experience. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a private members environment, we would love to hear from you. Racquet sport aficionados a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and make them feel welcome
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their experience
- Assist with menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Ensure orders are charged to the correct member's house account
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with food preparation as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of basic math
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and guidelines
Please note that this is a non-tipped position. We offer competitive wages based on experience.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
