We have an excellent opportunity in our Technical Support department for a Service Advisor 1 - Electrical focused Customer Service Representative (Office) in either our Mountaintop, PA Facility or our Goodyear, AZ Facility.

Summary:

Lead CornellCookson electrical support efforts by handling all electrical aspects of our product line. Assist with electrical issues of moderate difficulty, troubleshooting, warranty components, and focus on extraordinary customer satisfaction. Be a resource for the electrical products and support department. Support the electrical needs of internal and external customers. Diagnose all electrical-related issues and take proper measures to resolve. Assist in other areas as necessary and work cooperatively with others to help achieve company goals.

Responsibilities/Principal Duties

  • Receive, analyze, resolve and report customer electrical quality complaints. Work directly with our dealers and end-users to provide superior electrical support for all CornellCookson products. Work with engineering to identify electrical issues and trends. Support, resolve, and document all electrical-related issues.
  • Support and lead electrical initiatives for our dealers, inside sales, RM’s, production, and engineering… etc. Work directly with Electrical Engineering Design team in Goodyear for next Gen products.
  • Diagnose complex and difficult customer complaints, advise and implement remedies.
  • Troubleshoot electrical-related issues; diagnose complex problems and assist techs/site electricians to resolve wiring issues in the field. Strong ability to interpret schematics & diagrams.
  • Resolve electrical complaints, replace defective components. Process electrical-related warranty orders. Process quotes and orders in timely fashion.
  • Accurate information of warranty product (PR) reports.
    • Record all electrical warranty issues in CRM
    • Recommend improvement such as engineering changes and submit ECR’s
    • Study designs and compatibility issues, etc.
  • Work with others to achieve company goals.

Job Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Requires Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent electrical background.
  • AS/BS degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years work experience in electrical field with emphasis in Motors & Controls, PLC/PCB - control wiring.
  • Must be highly organized and have a proven ability to work within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and UL guidelines/regulations.
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics & diagrams.
  • 2-5 years experience interacting with customers preferred.
  • Must possess superior communication skills and be adept at training and educating our dealers.
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint recommended.

Problem Solving

Ability to analyze problems, create solutions and make sound, independent decisions and corrective actions.

Scope of Control

Use company resources (Engineering, Production, QA, and Inventory) in addition to his/her own technical ability to diagnose problems and provide satisfactory solutions to quality problems.

Communication/Cooperation

Must be able to develop mutually beneficial distributor/vendor relationships. High level of communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be an excellent trainer. Customer focus is primary.
