Job Summary:

The Service Dispatcher at Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta Northeast is responsible for coordinating and dispatching service requests to technicians in a timely and efficient manner. They will work closely with customers, technicians, and service advisors to ensure a seamless and exceptional service experience for all.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and log all service requests from customers and service advisors
  • Dispatch service requests to assigned technicians based on their skill level and workload
  • Monitor technician progress and provide updates to customers and service advisors as needed
  • Confirm that all repair work has been completed and quality standards have been met before returning vehicles to customers
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of service requests, repairs, and vehicle information
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the service department's daily workflow
  • Collaborate with service advisors to expedite service requests and resolve customer inquiries or concerns
  • Assist in tracking and ordering necessary parts for service repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and dealership policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with service management software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
