Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Service Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure that all services are performed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of service technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Oversee all aspects of automotive services including tire service, brake repair, oil changes, and shocks/struts installations.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any issues promptly.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in automotive service and upselling techniques.
• Conduct auto estimating for repairs and services to provide accurate quotes to customers.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring that necessary items are always available.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement within the service department.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes including tire service, brake repair, oil changes, and shocks/struts work.
• Experience with upselling automotive services and products effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Pay: $108,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
