Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, Our Defense Systems Sector wants you to join our Team as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician 3. This position is located at Lake Charles, LA.

You will become a part of our Maintenance and Fabrication Solutions located at Lake Charles, LA.

Your duties include:

• Set up and operate various machines to include brake benders, hydraulic press, sanders, saws, shear and various hand tools.

• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Fabricate form blocks using drawings and samples.

• Hand forming parts using drawings, form blocks and appropriate methods of fabrication.

• Communicate with others about part dimensions, methods of fabrication, equipment usage and general shop requirements.

• Personally monitor and verify dimensions and quality of parts.

• Be willing to learn specialized processes

• Keep work area neat and clean

• Complete required paperwork accurately on a timely basis.

Basic qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• A minimum of 4 years fabrication experience.

• Knowledge of basic computer skills

• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance should the Program requirements change.

Salary Range: $49,900 - $83,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
