Jersey Mike's Subs is a quick service sandwich chain that operates nationwide. We represent a small franchise group in Pittsburgh and are opening our sixth location here in Washington Pa. We are looking for crew members of all levels. Our projected opening will be at the end of October or early November. We have a training location nearby for training early recruits so there is no delay in employment.

Shift leader pay starts at $16 / hr + a guaranteed $2 / hr in tips

Responsibilities for Crew Members

- Have a positive attitude and engage customers in a friendly manner
- Maintain a neat and tidy work space
- Follow all operations standards for making quality subs
- Learn all recipes and procedures

Responsibilities for Shift Leaders
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen and dining areas
- Train and supervise team members, including bussing staff
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Handle cash transactions and perform retail math calculations accurately
- Assist with customer service and resolve any issues or complaints that arise
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment

Requirements

• Be able to read and use basic math to handle change
• Be able to stand or stoop for long durations of a shift
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs at a time
