Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in our warehouse and shop area. We have an in house metal fabrication a studio, custom millwork shop, as well as a custom paint and finishing department.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble products according to specifications
- Assist with fabricating and modifying parts
- Operate forklift to move materials and products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
