Qualifications:

o Elementary education and/or special education teaching degree preferred

o MA DESE Teaching Certification preferred (or working towards certification)

o Experience working with school age children

o Expertise in reading

o Good communication skills, organized & flexible

Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

o Replace reading interventionist position for approximately 8 weeks

o Prepare intervention instructional lessons based on data

o Instruct small groups of students

o Provide inclusive classroom support throughout the building

o Plan cooperatively with professional staff

o Work cooperatively with instructional coach and principal and teachers

o Assess students as necessary

o Observe high ethical and professional standards in the discharge of all professional responsibilities

Salary: $25.00 per hour certified/ $21 per hour non-certified
