Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and materials used
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs or installations
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform repairs on various systems and equipment
- Proficiency in reading schematics and working with logic controllers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including proficiency in English
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact professionally with staff and tenants
- Leadership skills
