Job Description

Flexjet, a leading global provider of fractional private jet ownership and leasing, is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Global Marketing Department as a Social Media Specialist. This person will join the Cyber Studio, a growing group of digitally minded marketers and specialists within the Global Marketing Department. This role is part of the exciting and continued growth Flexjet has experienced over the past decade. Social media is core to the communications, brand identity, and private travel experiences that make Flexjet a global aviation leader.
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating, publishing, and managing content on all social media channels including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter for multiple brands across the business portfolio. The main day-to-day functions of this role include assisting with the overall creation, coordination, and calendarization of all social media content while supporting topic planning, SEO, brand positioning, and audience management. The Social Media Specialist will manage and execute all social media channels scheduling, posting, community management, profile performance, and analytics to ensure consistent audience engagement and growth across all social media channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the scheduling, publishing, community management, and audience interactions of the content calendar for multiple Flexjet brands, including managing timelines and priorities.
  • Produce reports on audiences, insights, post engagement, website traffic increases, follower growth, and competitive trends. (with Digital Data Analyst)
  • Collaborate with Social Media Manager, Sr. Digital Manager, and Digital Director on multi-platform strategies, tactics, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of creative assets such as images, videos, Stories, Reels, and interviews.
  • Implement and manage targeted paid social media follower ads and boosted posts within META (Business Manager) and LinkedIn (Campaign Manager Platforms.
  • Develop and implement an insights-led multi-platform social strategy with an up-to-date understanding of social “best practices," ensuring alignment with broader marketing priorities, business goals, voice, and brand. Platforms may include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and more.
  • Optimize our social media channels using management tools, including publishing, reporting.
  • Collect and interpret social media insights using social listening tools and analytics platforms to guide campaigns, maximize engagement, and make data-backed recommendations.
  • Manage community management and social listening strategy to expand market presence and voice and monitor brands for user-generated content and media mentions daily.
  • Responsible for interacting, sharing, and positioning with potential influencers, partners, and contributors to influence and grow Flexjet’s social media audience.
  • Work with Asset Manager to properly archive all social media images, posts, and content into Flexjet’ inhouse DAM system.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing communications, and/or social media management.
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing multiple social media profiles content and community Including scheduling, publishing, content creation, calendar management, and overall strategy.
  • Must have experience in social media automation and analytics platforms: META, Business Manager, Hootsuite, Sprout, Pally, Airtable, Meltwater, GA4, LinkedIn Insights, and DOMO. (or similar platforms)
  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in understanding digital marketing and cross-channel alignment with social media strategies.
  • Copywriting experience a plus.
  • Must be a problem solver ready to provide suggestions on how to improve our social media footprint and drive advocacy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines must be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, fanatical attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
  • Innovative and creative thinker; proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change, and opportunity to help Flexjet look at things differently.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives.
  • Ability to accept feedback and work collaboratively as part of a team while still advocating a clear creative vision.
  • 20% travel is expected.
  • Must work from our corporate headquarters in Cleveland, OH.
