Adaptive Resources, Inc. looking for a Staff Level (Entry Level) Hydrogeologist with a bachelor's degree or greater in geology, hydrogeology, or environmental geology. Looking for a candidate with either no work experience or up to 1 to 2 years of experience. Below is a list of the projects that a Staff Hydrogeologist would be involved in:
- Monitor and Production Well Drilling and Construction (Overall Project Management, Monitor and Production Well Design, On-Site Geologic Logging, and Well Construction and Development Observation)
- Production Well and Pump Troubleshooting and Rehab Design
- Aquifer Testing and Analysis to Determine Aquifer Properties
- General Hydrogeological Investigations (Aquifer Orientation and Properties Determination)
- Geotechnical Test Hole Drilling Project Management, Design, On-Site Geologic and Standard Penetration Test Logging
- Ground Water Modeling, Consumptive Use Modeling, and Surface Water Operations Modeling
- Hydrogeologic and Hydrologic Data Gathering and Analysis for Model Design
- Ground Water Model Design, Calibration, and Scenario Analysis
- Land Use Dataset Creation (e.g. irrigated, non-irrigated, pasture, crop type, surface or ground water source, etc.)
- Consumptive Use Modeling Data Analysis
- Surface Water Operational Modeling and Data Analysis
- Head and Flow Observation Dataset Gathering and Analysis
- Regional Water Resources Consulting (Water Quantity and Quality)
- Superposition Ground Water Modeling to Determine Aquifer and Stream Response to Pumping
- Analytical Depletion Calculation (Glover Method)
- Fortran and Python Programming to Aid in Ground Water Modeling Analyses
- Geophysical Log Interpretation for Water Well Design and Hydrogeological Investigations
- Intentional Recharge Project Design and Work
- Nebraska and Colorado Water Rights Work
- General Water Resources Consulting Services to Aid in Water Resource Management
- Experience with Databases (Microsoft Access and others)
- Project Management - Client, Expectation, Time, Budget, and Cost Management
We prefer a Staff Hydrogeologist to be proficient in:
- Scientific Writing
- GIS for Analyses and Modeling
- Microsoft Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
