What you'll do:

As an Staff IT Analyst/Administrator on the IT Bus Ops team you are responsible for ensuring all IT contracts are moved through the various stages of approval with the different areas through to execution in a timely manner ensuring that project timelines are not affected. This role will work closely with IT leadership throughout the process and ensure that all policies and processes are followed to reduce any risk to the bank.

This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to develop relationships across the organization and can articulate the progress, challenges and improvement opportunities that clearly articulates when business value will be delivered. Additionally, this role requires a high attention to details to keep documents and procedures up to date, as well as verify all information is correct while adding it to our team SharePoint tracker which is used by our team for numerous requests and reporting.

What we are looking for:

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the IT contract management process in its current state
  • Lead effort to modernize and mature the contract management process
  • Build relationships with process stakeholders, answer questions, and provide guidance to continue to mature the program
  • Work with various IT business units to ensure that controls are adequate, appropriate and effective
  • Ensure policies, procedures, exceptions and other related documents are kept current
  • Generate reporting and metrics showing both key risk indicators and key performance indicators relating to the contract management functions
  • Report on current state via metrics to tell the story and provide updates on modernization efforts
  • Create dashboards to report on relevant data (total spend by vendor, spend against budget by vendor, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a technology or business emphasis
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant functional area to include banking, IT operations or project management and finance or accounting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to explain complex information to colleagues using clear, simple language.
  • Experience in metrics or success measures management
  • Experience in tracking progress and telling the story of program progress
  • Experience building Board level and executive/management reports and presentations Project Management experience desired
  • Knowledge and experience with risk management processes, techniques and tools
  • Previous experience in SQL, Tableau, DevOps, Excel Macros, and VBA (Preferred).
  • Demonstrates initiative, takes personal accountability, and is driven to both identify and address opportunities to improve the program.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio) required.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime may be required to finish critical deliverables.
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization such as with PowerBI (Preferred).
