Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages for our customers. Duties: - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and seating areas - Assist with food preparation and handling as needed - Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and brewing methods - Uphold food safety standards and follow proper sanitation procedures - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow Requirements: - Previous experience working as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Proficient in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions - Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus - Strong mathematical skills for cash handling and order accuracy - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner - Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and practices At our company, we value our employees' contributions.
