Molex is currently seeking a progressive and innovative Strategy Leader to support the Global Product Development (PD) Mendix (LCNC) capability on a part-time basis.

Reporting to the VP of Global Product Development, this individual will play a key role in the value realization of the Mendix platform for PD. This role will be responsible for crafting and managing a strategy and portfolio to leverage Mendix (LCNC Development), providing guidance to a team of leaders, providing risk assessment for short and long-range solution planning, highlighting improvement for the business, and optimizing operational execution within the product development and customer/employee experience arenas. This role will leverage important supplier partnerships and integrate the voice of the business to optimize/automate the product development process, linking fragmented applications and systems. The capabilities of this individual will have a substantial impact on accelerating the company's digital transformation.

This role is open to remote/work-from-home candidates and will operate on a part-time basis (estimated less than 20 hours per week). Travel up to 10% will be required to our Chicago office or other domestic Molex locations.

What You Will Do

• Develop a Mendix app development and realization framework that can be used to scale Mendix implementation across PD processes.
• Collaborate with Digital/Global PD strategy team to develop a portfolio of opportunities for Mendix (starting with "part number search"), and lead the short and long-range planning process in collaboration with the Digital/Global PD leadership team.
• Partner with Digital/Global PD leaders to design and implement Mendix solution development and deployment plans to ensure successful execution of the company's strategy.
• Coach and guide the Digital/Global PD leadership team; proactively identify risks/barriers and offer recommendations to ensure seamless operational execution within the business support of product development, production, and commercial functions while meeting key business outcomes across those areas.
• Participate in and, when needed, lead interactions with current and prospective partners (building a network of trusted and reliable SME's & integrators).
• Seek opportunities for where Mendix can proactively automate and seamlessly connect data, feedback loops, activities across intersections to other capabilities (Supply Chain, Mfg & Operations, Customer Experience/Sales) in alignment with the Digital PD Integration strategy.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience supporting large-scale, global, transformational, multi-million-dollar programs affecting multiple countries and functions/departments involving people, technology, and business process impacts.
• 10+ years of experience in a leadership capability.
• 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and leading the Mendix product to drive integration of manufacturing and product development solution software.
• Experience leading managers and teams in a matrix environment.
• Experience with overall Product Development eco-systems, e.g. PLM, ALM, mCAD & eCAD, CAE, LIMS, FMEA, etc.
• Experience partnering with key stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver Mendix solutions to fulfil business needs.
• Deep understanding of key business drivers across Research & Development and manufacturing functions in the manufacturing industry.
