Are you currently interested in becoming a professional driver but don’t know where to start? Look no further than Specialty Foods Distribution. Get your training at no cost and get paid to do so!

Specialty Foods is now offering a nine-week in-house Driver Training Program. During this program, students will be paid $16.00 per hour while they learn the skills necessary to have a successful career in driving. Note: Must be 21 years of age to apply.

After completion of the Training Program, you will proceed to a four-week truck driver training school to obtain your driver credentials. Students will also be paid while they are a part of the training school. We would like to further the knowledge and skills learned obtaining skills, as well as provide valuable safety habits that will stay with the drivers for their entire career.

Skills that will be taught during the training program include:

• Maneuverability
• Defensive Driving
• Planning Routes
• GPS Map Reading
• E-Log Training
• Customer Service Principles

Job Title: Student Delivery Driver

Specialty Foods Distribution drivers average up to $60,000 to $65,000 a year upon graduation and enjoy time at home. We also offer 100% company paid insurance for drivers and their immediate family members. This position hauls restaurant products within 420 miles of Joplin, MO. Staying that close means maximum home time.
