Position Summary
The Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) plays a crucial role in supporting the Product Supply Chain Managers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of finished goods. This role involves managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, from project initiation to go-live, with a focus on inventory optimization and proactive problem-solving, ensuring that operational efficiency is maximized. The SCC will collaborate across multiple teams, drive new initiatives, and provide strategic support to streamline operations, ensuring all aspects of the supply chain are thoroughly managed and align with the company's business goals, contributing to cost reduction and performance improvements.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
- Assist in enhancing supply chain performance by identifying challenges, implementing improvements, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless supply chain processes.
- Create, submit, and track reworks as necessary to resolve supply chain issues efficiently and maintain product quality.
- Organize and manage various aspects of supply chain activities, promoting effective communication and collaboration among teams.
- Offer insights, recommendations, and strategic advice to support decision-making and successful project execution.
- Enhance visibility and accessibility of critical information, ensuring all project components are aligned and executed smoothly.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, prepare agendas, and document key takeaways to maintain clarity and direction in project execution.
- Maintain a 95% or higher on-time delivery rate for both inbound and outbound shipments within North America.
- Ensure 98% or higher accuracy in inventory counts and records.
- Work to reduce supplier lead times by 10% within the first year of employment.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance by maintaining regular communication and achieving an agreed set of KPIs.
- Handle complex logistics challenges involving multiple stakeholders and quickly adapt to changes in supply and demand.
- Execute other tasks as assigned to support the broader supply chain operations.
Education and Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain operations.
