Job Overview:
Our Planning Team in Essex, VT is responsible for all scheduling activities for our production floor. This includes current week schedule adjustments. planning the following 2 weeks schedule, and strategic planning into the following months.

As a Supply Chain Planner you will work with Multi-Site Supply Chain on the demand pass that is sent to Essex, with the KDP buyer’s organization for raw material availability, and transition that demand plan in to a production schedule for the plant. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Essex production, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams as you finalize the weekly production schedules. You will work with an experience team of schedulers on optimizing the schedule and work together on current week decision making to maximize our weekly volume. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing various department reporting and ad-hoc requirements related our weekly production schedules.

Position Responsibilities

  • Review and revise production schedules as required by changes in the sales forecast or manufacturing requirements
  • Act as a liaison between Multi-site Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety, to create a schedule to meet our customer’s demands
  • Continuously review best practice with the production team, and incorporate the best practices with each production schedule.
  • Make recommendation for pulling ahead, or pushing out orders.
  • Validate raw material availability for production orders prior to the scheduled start dates.
  • Support KDP network, Essex, and planning teams KPI’s.
  • Aid management/departments on matters related to production planning.
  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or similar field preferred
  • APICS certification and/or affiliation a plus
  • 3 years of experience in supply chain planning / scheduling / fulfillment of production orders (preferably for a manufacturer of consumer products)
  • Strong experience planning materials involving purchase orders for finished goods as well as raw materials per Bill of Materials
  • Prior experience working SAP
  • 2 years’ experience in Excel (performing functions such as pivot tables, v look-up, etc.)
  • Prior experience leading projects
  • Power BI and Tableau experience a plus.

  • Compensation: This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly cycle. Compensation is flexible and determined by the candidate's experience level.
