Modern OB/GYN, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to offering personalized and compassionate obstetric and gynecologic care, is seeking a detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to join our dynamic team.

Duties:

- Coordinate surgical schedules for patients, providers, and operating rooms
- Communicate with patients to provide pre-operative instructions and answer inquiries
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate patient information and medical records
- Utilize clinic systems to input and update surgical appointments
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling patient data
- Familiarity with medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals
- Ensure administrative tasks related to surgery scheduling are efficiently managed
- Uphold high standards of patient service in all interactions

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in scheduling software preferred
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of obtaining surgical quotes from insurance carriers
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in a clinic setting, particularly in surgery scheduling
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare providers
