Manages and leads a team of employees. Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to assigned team. Motivates and assesses performance. Provides support to leadership, including hiring and training, updates management on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising assigned department(s)/area(s). Responsible for overseeing the operations and administrative processes of assigned group.

• Supervise and promote the professional development of assigned staff.
• Coordinate, direct and monitor staff to ensure an efficient and cost-effective area in accordance with departmental and corporate standards and objectives.
• Promote the professional development of assigned staff through selection, development, and employee coaching.
• Assure systems, equipment, personnel, services and/or contracts comply with all applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Utilize applicable reporting systems; develop, maintain, and produce monthly, quarterly, or annual KPI’s and other reports, as required for functional area(s).
• Administer and adhere to corporate and departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
• Administer tasks of the functional area assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. Minimum of 60 college credits is required.
• Two (2) years of leadership experience in related departmental specific field.
• Prior success leading others (project teams, peer mentoring, volunteer, formal).
• Intermediate knowledge of assigned BCBSM department(s)/area(s) including all applicable policies, procedures, and processes.
• Intermediate organizational, planning, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills required.
• Advanced ability to work effectively with limited direction in a team environment.
