How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Are you ready for a challenge in a fast-paced dynamic organization that has several touch points with cross functional stakeholders throughout Delta? Do you have interest in learning how Delta keeps our aircraft operating in a safe and efficient manner? If so, this opportunity is for you. This position is for a Delta Technical Operations Division (TOC) Project Manager located in Atlanta GA. Key responsibilities include:

  • The TOC program manager will use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to support the department's daily operation. This includes the following responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with TOC leaders and Finance across business units to identify key improvement and automation areas. Lead the learning sessions for gaps identified and ensure optimized agenda and participation
  • Influencing daily operations and leader schedules across a matrixed organization that offers industry leading executive support and management
  • Perform high-level root cause analysis and disseminate outputs from process improvement sessions i.e., aggregate and analyze inputs that come from multiple stakeholders participating in the LEAN process.
  • Be able to clearly articulate how our projects drive productivity
  • Obtain buy-in on complex asks from senior TOC Leadership across all functional areas.
  • Design and manage long-term Finance team operating calendar to ensure timely project execution. Own staff meeting follow-ups on behalf of Finance VP
  • Practice executive communication through frequent interactions with senior leaders and their teams throughout the TOC engine and Finance organizations
  • Proficient in driving key projects to completion including and ad-hoc tasks that supports business needs
This position requires on site attendance 4 days per week and is based in Atlanta GA.

  • Capability to deliver results, and excellent organization.
  • An ability to interact with senior management and collaborate with individuals of varying experience levels in an effective manner.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional workouts and effective long-term project planning
  • Must possess strong organizational, decision-making and administrative skills and be capable of handling multiple projects concurrently. Demonstrated ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite; Power-user of Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
