Job Description

WinnCompanies is looking for an agile and organized Office Assistant to join our team at The Avenue, a residential and commercial property located in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will assist with the daily functions of the office and special projects, ensuring smooth operation.

Please note that this is a temporary, part-time position, which will work up to 30 hours per week and is not eligible for Winn benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy. Manage traffic and conduct property tours.
  • Prepare lease documentation, complete move-in paperwork, maintain applicable databases, and ensure tour route, amenity areas, and show units are to company standard.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communication via phone and email.
  • Order office supplies and maintain office inventory.
  • Pick up and distribute mail from post office.
  • Collect and review new hire paperwork.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience in property management industry.
