Groove Toyota is actively hiring a Toyota Certified Service Technician to join our team in Englewood, CO.

Position Overview:

The Toyota-Certified Service Technician will diagnose vehicle service problems and make necessary repairs and adjustments in a professional, quality manner.

Who You Are:

  • You are a Toyota-Certified with a minimum of (6) ASE Certifications.
  • You are detailed and efficient, with 2 + years of experience and strong knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance, along with diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Through formal training sessions, you continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay current with rapidly changing Toyota technology.
  • You are a reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
  • You are a team player and maintain a positive attitude when dealing with management, parts personnel, and other technicians.
  • You are customer-focused and hold yourself to a high standard of quality work.
  • You can work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • You have up-to-date knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and follow dealership standards.
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs and explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test vehicles and record findings to make necessary repairs.
  • Advise ASM of needed repairs, including parts needs; advise the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order.
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicating directly with the Service Advisor to be informed if additional service is needed. They are also providing an estimate of the time required for other repairs.
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform quality repairs; have a "fix the vehicle right the first time" mentality.
  • Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and other pertinent information to describe repair activities.

Requirements:

  • Toyota Certified with a minimum of (6) ASE Certifications
  • Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
