Job Opportunity: 1st Shift Yard Spotter at Arctic Cold Storage

Position Overview: As a Yard Driver, you will operate a yard truck to efficiently move semi-trailers in and out of loading docks and throughout the lot. Your top priority will be maintaining safety while ensuring smooth traffic flow. Key responsibilities include breaking seals, releasing trucks, sealing trailers, monitoring temperatures, and accurately recording all relevant information regarding inbound, outbound, and dropped trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the yard truck, ensuring the safety of yourself, others, and property.
• Spot the correct trailers into designated dock doors for loading.
• Ensure trailers are sealed for safe transit.
• Only pull trailers away from docks once cleared for removal.
• Conduct regular yard checks and report any necessary maintenance (e.g., snow removal, grading).
• Complete work records accurately and promptly in line with company policies.
• Perform daily facility checks.
• Seasonal duties include snow and ice removal.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security and undertake special projects as needed.

Schedule:

Wednesday - Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm & Saturday, 6:00 am - Close (as late as 6:00 pm).
