TRANSCRIPTIONIST / LEGAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT – MEDICAID
The Attorney General of Arkansas Tim Griffin is seeking to hire a Transcriptionist / Legal Support Assistant to serve as a Transcriptionist / Legal Assistant in the Medicaid Division. This position requires excellent transcription skills. Responsibilities include transcribing all statements taken by the unit investigators.
The Transcriptionist / Legal Support Assistant may also be required to organize medical records for the investigators, answer the phone and perform other common clerical duties. Candidates must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Excellent clerical skills including typing, data entry, and organizational skills. Familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and use new databases and case management systems. Salary will depend upon qualifications and experience. Three plus years of transcriptionist experience is preferred.
