Overall Responsibility:

The Treatment Coordinator is essential to ensuring patients receive a 5-star experience. They are responsible for providing excellent patient care that begins with the initial phone call, and includes managing multiple provider schedules, as well as enforcing patient financial obligations, and assisting in dental insurance details related to treatment planning case acceptance.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing a multi-line phone system
    • Schedule/Reschedule patient appointments
    • Ensure the next day’s schedule is filled for all providers (Doctors &Hygienists)
    • Gather all patient’s personal/insurance information and update current information on file.
    • Confirm and document patient appointments
  • Enforces the company’s financial policy by collecting and entering payment transactions accurately.
  • Checking in patients utilizing Denticon software, and ensuring proper paperwork is given and completed by patients.
  • Enters transactions and posts payment at time of patient check-out.
  • Review Treatment Plans with patients
  • Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility and updates information into Denticon accurately
  • Maintaining electronic records privately for patients by scanning/sorting properly
  • Maintain office lobby/waiting room cleanliness
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a front desk dental role
  • Ability to lift 15-20 lbs.
