We are seeking someone to run the day to day operations for our Regional Carrier fleet of trucks based in Nashville near BNA. Reporting directly to the owner, this is your opportunity for to leadership in a long time established, Nashville company.

Responsibilities include:

Driver Management, Scheduling, Logistics, Routing and Fleet Management.

Keeping equipment road ready, well maintained, and owning pre/post trip inspections, prioritizing maintenance with shop mechanic.

Must have strong understanding of FMCSA, DOT, and HOS Compliance.

Carrier has been in business 20 years, stable and growing. Current fleet is 25 vehicles which consists of vans, box trucks, and straight trucks regionally.

Qualifications

- Experience managing transportation operations, particularly with box trucks and refrigerated trailers
- Strong organizational and logistical skills to coordinate and optimize transportation routes
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols for transportation operations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of drivers and logistics personnel
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
