Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is a plus
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills using CCTV systems
- Proven experience in conflict management
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional training will be a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.66 - $18.50 per hour
