Primary Purpose:


It is the primary responsibility of the Vice President Security & Investigations to provide strategic support for the company, leadership, SVP Global Security, and management of investigations operational functions within the Corporate Security Department. The functional units include investigations oversight, global vendor screening, and special projects. The position will ensure all activities performed within these units are in accordance with the company's business objectives, mission statement and core service standards. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Provide leadership to functional units which include investigations oversight, global vendor screening, and special projects.

  • Develop and maintain relationships from a company standpoint with internal stakeholders, the resort properties security and surveillance departments, the law enforcement community, gaming regulators and vendors within our regional locations.

  • Conduct sensitive and confidential investigations at a company-wide level when required.

  • Provide oversight and leadership to investigations at the property level.

  • Ensure the company’s interests are protected and in compliance with regulatory and business regulations through thorough investigations and management oversight.

  • Respond to critical incidents involving MGMRI resort properties and provide corporate operational/administrative support and assistance.

  • Create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • (Six) 6+ Years of prior relevant experience in law enforcement, legal, or a comparable position
