Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory management, and general warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience with warehouse management systems and equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners.

Responsibilities:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices

- Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming goods for damage or defects

- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to pull sheet orders

- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse

- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory movements

- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations as needed

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and improve efficiency

- Must be willing to drive for local deliveries as needed - Driver's License Required

Experience:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred

- Ability to load/unload trucks and move heavy equipment up to 60 lbs

- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately perform tasks such as picking, packing, and labeling

- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is desirable

- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines for safe material handling
