Job Overview:

This position is a rotational role where you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, kitting, inspecting inventory and other tasks on a week-to-week basis. Maple Systems is an employee-owned company located in Everett, WA. We manufacture and distribute Industrial Automation electronic products such as Industrial Computers, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). We are looking for someone to join our production team which consists of 10 other team members all doing a variety of job responsibilities. Job Description:

• Ship packages utilizing UPS, UPS WorldShip, FedEx and DHL.
• Receive packages and inspect packages for accuracy and quality.
• Pull and kit orders for the production floor.
• Perform Final inspections (FIP) on the products.
• Periodic cycle counts of inventory utilizing ABC classifications.
• Organization of inventory with proper labeling and in FIFO order.
• Review of current inventory storage methods with continual process improvement.
• Identify and escalate issues with inventory receipts, labeling, or damaged inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Shipping experience with UPS and FedEx, highly preferred.
• NetSuite/ERP system knowledge.
• Inventory control experience.
• Passionate, hard worker and well-organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills with excellent sorting abilities.
• Ability to lift and move 30+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Compliance to safety requirements.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions (Assembly Procedure, Drawings, etc.), production reports, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
