YOUR PASSION

QC Supply is looking for a personable, detail-oriented individual as a Warehouse & Counter Sales Associate who will provide excellent customer service to join our team. This teammate is also responsible for processing of inventory transactions within the facility from receiving of product, to picking and packing for shipment, through to billing to the customer.

This position is based out of our Ranburne, AL facility. This role is part-time, with a work schedule of Mondays and Thursdays from 7am to 4pm.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with QC Supply retail customers, both in-store and over the phone, to understand their needs
• Recommend to customers the best parts and equipment available with which their needs can be addressed
• Educate new customers on new products and special promotions as well as promote QC Supply products
• Properly operate office equipment, handle payment transactions, and efficiently utilize computer operating systems
• Assist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts
• Maintain the inventory levels to assure that there are adequate quantities on hand of all stock
• Work in the warehouse and ensure that all materials leaving or entering the warehouse are properly accounted for
• Verification of inbound product and entry of receipt information in the inventory management system
• Staging and put away of inbound materials into warehouse bin location utilizing the inventory management system
• Accurate picking, packing and shipping of product to Customers, QC Sites and Vendor Partners
• Aid in performance of cycle counts and physical inventories within the Facility
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to an environment of teamwork and collaboration
• General housekeeping and sanitation of warehouse and retail workspaces, keeping spaces neat and clean
• Demonstrate a willingness to perform any daily task as assigned

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand basic English
• Ability to function in a fast-paced customer driven environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

• Experience working within a warehouse and distribution environment.
• Experience utilizing portable technology within a warehouse environment.
• Understanding of inventory control concepts.
• Forklift certification and experience with stand-up and sit down lifts

• This position will require up to 100% standing and walking, with approximately 30% of the associates time spent in an office or retail environment, but typically greater than 70% spent in a distribution center.
