Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and donors in a pleasant and efficient manner.
  • Supports all store/warehouse employees in carrying out organizational goals and activities in a positive manner.
  • Coordinates activities with Store Manager, Directors, Vice President and various staff within the Agency.
  • Able to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations.
  • Manages fleet of trucks for compliance with DOT standards and complete monthly audits of vehicle fleet.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements as well as all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs and audits, etc.
  • Communicates with all staff as well as assessing performance on a regular basis.
  • Maintains all standards and monitors inventory levels.
  • Performs monthly inventory of sorted stock.
  • Sort through donations to find quality saleable items.
  • Work closely with other team members and communicate clearly with the store management when needed.
  • Operate box trucks to pick up and deliver goods.
  • General warehouse maintenance.
  • Conducts weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections and repairs to automated equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, balers, trucks, and conveyor systems.
  • Operates forklifts and trains team to operate forklifts.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 21 years old
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift, stoop, bend, and twist.
  • Often lifts greater than 50 pounds, floor to waist and waist to eye level.
  • Have a background in warehouse management, employee recruitment, and engagement.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience is required for this position, and training in management and leadership is preferred.
