Join the UNFI of Urbana-Champaign team in a Full-time Warehouse Selector role:

• Starting wage is $22.75/hr with a productivity pay increase to $26.85/hr after 2 consecutive weeks of 100% productivity!

Plus additional differentials:

• $2.00/hr Weekend Premium
• $2.00/hr Freezer Premium
• $1.25/hr 2nd shift premium

Schedule:

• 5:00 pm start time - 3:30 am (or until work completion), 4 days per week
• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday OR Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday

Work Environment: Perishables working in temperatures of 34 degrees down to -15 degrees

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Selects a variety of product utilizing a Vocollect Headset.
• Maintains order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage.
• Transports product throughout the warehouse via electric pallet jack.
• Works in a fast paced environment with varying temperatures.
• Assists other departments with work activities when required.
• Promotes good working relationships by maintaining a courteous and friendly manner
• Attends work regularly and on time as scheduled

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Steel toe or composite toe footwear is required
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, frequent bending, stooping and lifting.
• Must have the ability to work in various temperatures from -20 to 80 degrees.
• Must be able to work the required schedule
• Previous order selection, warehouse experience such as shipping or receiving, or experience in a physically demanding position is preferred.
• Must be willing to consent to background check and drug screen
