Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team full-time for the 2024/2025 school year. In this role, youll be working 32-37 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing vital psychological services to students. Your expertise will help shape the academic and emotional success of students, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: You must hold a valid School Psychologist Licensure in the state where you will be working. This is non-negotiable, as it's a key requirement for the role.
  • Education: A Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology is required. This advanced education provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively in this role.
  • Experience: Were seeking candidates with hands-on experience in developing and conducting assessments, evaluations, and psychological testing. Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is crucial, as youll be working closely with teachers, parents, and students to tailor educational strategies that meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Assessments: Conduct psychological assessments to identify students learning and emotional needs. This includes cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations.
  • IEP Development: Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement IEPs, ensuring that each students educational program is tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Support Services: Provide counseling and intervention services to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral issues. Your role is pivotal in helping students navigate these challenges to achieve their full academic potential.
  • Consultation: Act as a consultant for teachers and administrators, offering expert advice on strategies to support students' psychological and educational development.
