OVERVIEW

To provide quality instructional and recreational activities in a nurturing, safe environment utilizing developmentally appropriate activities for kindergarten through 6th grade children.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To assist the Xplore Program Manager with providing quality instructional and recreational activities in a nurturing, safe environment utilizing developmentally appropriate activities for kindergarten through 6th grade children.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in working with children
• Ability to work well with children, teachers, and parents
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with children, staff, district personnel at all levels and parents; maintain confidentiality
• Must be able to manage small groups of children
• Assist the Xplore Program Manager with the implementation of age appropriate activities for kindergarten through 6th grade children
• Perform a variety of duties (clerical, cleaning, ect) in support of the Xplore program
• Regular and on-time attendance required
