The City of Columbus has a current job opening and is accepting applications for the position of part-time Area Transit Driver.

Pay Range is $18.61 - $25.15 per hour.

This is specialized work in the operation of a small passenger bus/large passenger van/mini-van. The incumbent is responsible for the safe transportation of area citizens to and from their requested destinations.

Work requires knowledge and skill acquired through specialized training and work experience in the safe and efficient operation of a passenger bus/van while meeting a schedule of appointments. Employees are in constant contact with the public and exercise a high degree of caution and courtesy. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Columbus Area Transit Supervisor. Work schedule is 25 - 30 hours, Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm, will work as needed.
