How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Central Tooling Attendant is responsible for:
  • Direct technical tooling support to Line, Base, Engine, and Component Maintenance organizations.
  • This includes worldwide allocation, procurement, customer and vendor management.
  • Central Tooling Attendants are the tactical arm of Delta’s Tooling organization.
  • The responsibilities include but are not limited to providing tactical support for all tooling and test equipment to support maintenance personnel worldwide, procurement of repetitive high volume tooling through PO authority and B2B, support vendor managed inventory processes through the established network. The Attendant will work directly with Tooling Services to support all maintenance activities.
  • Candidate should possess a working knowledge of personal computers, SAP, ATICTS, PMET, Documentum, OTIS, Sceptre and My Boeing Fleet/Airbus. Should be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals, procedural manuals and blueprints. CTA will assist in goods receiving, accounts payable/receivable and vendor management.
  • The candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs. (Excel, word, etc. )
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
  • Candidate should possess a working knowledge of personal computers, knowledge of SAP, ATICTS, PMET, Documentum, OTIS, Sceptre and My Boeing Fleet/Airbus.
  • Should be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals, procedural manuals and blueprints.
  • CTA will assist in resolving tooling issues that are escalated from the Lead Supply Attendant and support Tooling Analysts. Central Tooling coordinates tooling projects that support Delta's Flight Plan.
