Primary Responsibilities:
  • Camera Classes (Studio, Acting For Camera, Integrated)
  • Cinematography and Camera Operator
  • Lighting
  • set up and design
  • Audio Supervision
  • Set up video cart for educational student viewing while filming
  • Log, upload, and distribute classroom footage
  • Work in collaboration with acting faculty to teach and correct technical techniques for the students
  • Supervise distribution for props and set dressing from AV stock
  • 4th Semester Film projects
  • Cinematography and Camera Operator
  • Location sound mixing
  • Graduation Performance and Workshop Filming
  • Camera Operator
  • Slate/Camera Log
  • Coordinate with Audio Engineer all sound needs
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year experience with narrative cinematography.
  • Familiarity with Interchangeable Lens Cameras and their operation.
  • Familiarity with basic lighting setup and design for film/video.
  • Experience with basic location sound such as lavalier microphones, boom microphones, and portable digital recorder (Zoom H6 or similar).
  • Experience with videography/cinematography of live events.
  • Microsoft Office and Google Suite Familiarity
  • Experience with Canon C200, C300 or any of the Canon Cinema EOS line (Preferred)
  • Experience working as part of a multi-camera team (Preferred)
  • At least 1 year experience working in a higher education classroom setting. (Preferred)

Position Information:
  • The regular schedule for this role is 20 hours per week. This is subject to change based on department needs.
  • The pay range for this position is $20 - $24/hr.
  • This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.
  • This is a fully in person role.
