Responsibilities:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and manage relationships with local businesses and organizations to develop Cause Related Marketing opportunities, generating awareness and revenue for the charity.
  • Create internal and external communication pieces, including, but not limited to
o Newsletters
o Special event invitations
o Volunteer requests
o Donation solicitations
  • Coordinate Marketing, Public Relations, and Communications for organization as needed
  • Assist in coordinating RMHC marketing efforts including
o Collateral creation and distribution
o Advertising
o Branding
o Compliance
  • Coordinate public relations opportunities to increase community awareness in conjunction with local and regional media outlets including print, television, radio, and internet media.
  • Develop marketing collateral as needed using graphic design and written communications
  • Support Vehicle Donation Program for RMHC of Central Ohio by
o Building and maintaining community partnerships
o Encouraging donations of vehicles through grassroots campaign strategies
  • Represent the organization to the public when requested
  • Assist in creating content for regular organizational communications pieces
  • Work with organizational social media presence including
o Facebook
o Twitter
o Pinterest
  • Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Graphic design capabilities (basic)
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Apple, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
